#Hack2023 is an annual Hackathon organized to develop digital solutions for challenges faced by local churches. I was asked to assist with the marketing efforts. In this post, I'll focus on specific aspects of the processes I was involved in rather than the entire marketing campaign.

Inspiration and References
This is the first time Indigitous is collaborating with Digital Wesley for a hackathon. I researched the various forms of art associated with Methodists and discovered that they are renowned for their stained glass art, stemming from their Anglican roots. This has inspired me to use stained glass art as the backdrop for my future design concepts.
Vision of this Hackathon
After going through a few rounds of Brainstorming, the Marketing team had decided on the theme of "Loving in discipleship" which covers 5 areas such as

Marketing Strategy
Our Target Audience was 300 People, based on previous attendance, Digital Wesley's audience and potential growth from the marketing

Indigitous would be targeting the younger generation and would be using Instagram and Tiktok to advertise to their audience while Digital Wesley would have an older audience. Digital Wesley would be using Facebook and Posters to their target audience.
Posters Design
Using Canva and Adobe Photoshop I came up with a few different ways Love can be exemplified in these settings for example as a bread run for society, comforting the broken for fellowship, a family picnic, a workplace meeting and a Bible study for church.
Event Brite
We then decided to create an Eventbrite page to use as a platform to expedite our registrations. This page was then promoted through various platforms like Instagram, Facebook and QR codes on posters.
T Shirt Design
To create brand awareness on the day itself we had decided to have our own T Shirt, as requested by one of the Planners, they would prefer a Beige colored shirt thus I complied and gave a few variations to choose from
Totebag Design
Then based on the T shirt Design we decided on the Table gifts for the Event such as the Totebags
